FUN IN THE BARN
Thanks to all the Bulldog helpers who transformed the barn into a graceful,
elegant banquet hall. The big room sparkled with tiny lights and was adorned
with a clothesline full of very old photos. Each of the round tables had a
bouquet of sunflowers, new cloth napkins, and its very own Bulldog! The Caseys
had hung a huge chalk board on which classmates wrote the changes we have seen
since graduation. If we hadn’t been so busy visiting, I’m sure we would have
thought of even more changes.
Our unexpected bit of excitement came about when Earl Snell suddenly collapsed
to the ground! Nurses Valetta and Karen (Pluemke) Lewis were right there to
help. Dehydration? The paramedics discreetly checked him out. All is well
that ends well. Maybe Earl just couldn’t wait any longer for that roast pork!
